The American artist Bruce Nauman (b. 1941) is one of our time’s most celebrated
artists. A conceptual and technical pioneer, his approach and manner of working
with materials such as neon, hologram, multi-channel video installations, slogans,
surveillance cameras etc have inspired a host of imitators. Often dealing with
language, conflict and aggression, his art frequently displays traces of irony and
black humour. The exhibition presents works from the 1960s to the present day.
