About Minnesota Street Project
Located in San Francisco’s historic Dogpatch neighborhood, Minnesota Street Project offers a new model for affordable and economically sustainable spaces for art galleries, artists and related non- profits to encourage the creation and appreciation of contemporary visual art in the city of San Fran- cisco.
Minnesota Street Project’s Phase 1 resides at 1275 Minnesota Street, a 35,000 square-foot ware- house that will become home to art galleries, artists’ studios, nonprofit arts education entities, along with exhibition spaces, café and retail. Development of a companion facility – to house additional studios, art storage facilities, and artistic workshop spaces – is in the planning stages.
While construction of the first building is underway, Minnesota Street Project will present ongoing visual arts programming at temporary spaces around the city, including 2291 3rd St.
