DESCRIPTION

Steven Wolf Fine Arts exhibits post war and contemporary art in all media. The gallery shows emerging, mid-career and established artists from the U.S and abroad, specializing in the discovery of new San Francisco Bay Area talent and the rediscovery of artists who have fallen through the cracks of history. In 2004 the gallery was nominated by the International Association of Art Critics for hosting the best one-person show outside New York. Since 2005 after moving to its current 1500 square foot space the gallery has been written about by Artforum, Art in America, Art Papers, Artweek, SF Chronicle, SF Weekly, SF Bay Guardian, 7 x 7 Magazine, Paste, Shotgun Review, Urban Pollution, NYArts.com, SF Gate.com, Artforum.com, Art business.com, Flavorpill.com and others.
