Los Angeles based gallery Thinkspace has teamed up with Hashimoto Contemporaryin San Francisco to present 'LAX / SFO'. This special pop-up group exhibition has been curated by Thinkspace and marks the second time the gallery has worked with SF gallerist Ken Harman to bring the best of the burgeoning New Contemporary movement to the Bay Area. With roots firmly planted in illustration, pop culture imagery, comics, street art and graffiti, put quite simply the New Contemporary Art Movement is art for the people. Featuring new works from 60 artists from around the world, 'LAX / SFO' will kick off with back-to-back openings on Halloween weekend with receptions from 6-11PM onboth Fri., October 31st and Sat., November 1st. Halloween Costumes are strongly encouraged and Hashimoto Contemporary's sister gallery, Spoke Art, will also be opening 'Bad Dads V', so if you find yourself in SF this Halloween weekend or anytime before Thanksgiving, be sure to pop by both spaces and enjoy new works from some of the best artists in the New Contemporary Art Movement.
