DESCRIPTION

Founded in 1892, the mission of the Kingsley Art Club is to promote knowledge and appreciation of art among its members and in the community. These monthly lectures feature local and regional artists and other arts insiders. Contemporary artist Amy Ellingson will reveal how she layers free painting, using encaustic and oil paint, with laser-cut shapes to create her abstract, elegant paintings. She will also introduce her large-scale public commission for San Francisco International Airport.
