White Hot Lamp Black
The artists in White Hot Lamp Black investigate the distant edges of our perception: shadows, bright light, dark space and deep holes. The artists’ research-based practices focus on the ways we perceive and consider light; exploring the difficulties of grasping it, both metaphorically and physically.
The project includes photographic, sculpture, video and music work by Carrie Hott, Dario Robleto, Laura Steenberge and Hillary Wiedemann as well as a performance by Jeremiah Barber and Ingrid Rojas Contreras scheduled for Friday, February 21, 7–9 PM. An additional off-site event is set for Friday, February 28, 7–9 PM.
