Zimbardo introduces a range of video works and recorded collaborative performances primarily from the 1970s that engage in various ways with the rural or urban environment. The conceptual experiments in the first part of the program reflect on perception; in the second part, artists move against the backdrop of New York's lower Manhattan or intervene in public locations in San Francisco.
