Leigh Markopoulos is chair of CCA’s Graduate Program in Curatorial Practice. She was formerly the director of Rena Bransten Gallery in San Francisco, and before that the deputy director of the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts. Prior to that she was exhibition organizer at the Serpentine Gallery and at the Hayward Gallery, both in London. Markopoulos is a frequent reviewer for the online journal Art Practical and has worked on many freelance writing and editorial projects.

Small Talks is a mini lecture series held every Wednesday at the CCA Wattis Institute. The intent is to prompt dialogue and connect the artistic practices and research concerns of CCA faculty with the themes of the exhibition When Attitudes Became Form Become Attitudes. Small Talks are one hour in duration.
