DESCRIPTION

Featuring over 30 artists from The Association of Clay and Glass Artists of California (ACGA). Juried by Steven Allen, Artist and Ceramics Studio manager at the Richmond Art Center. Silica is a basic and abundant ingredient shared by both clay and glass artists that is magically transformed by the creative spirit and fire to create inspiring works of art. This exhibition showcases artists practicing various methods such as working on the wheel, hand-building, sculpting, slumping, slip casting, and blowing, among others.
