DESCRIPTION

Fecal Face Dot Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of "The Benefit Show," donated works by Fecal Face favorites from around the globe. In the eight years since its conception Fecal Face has launched the careers of many a creative, and catalyzed a community of artists working in various mediums from around the world. Now, as Fecal Face expands its reach, select artists who have been featured on the site are donating to the cause. "We gained a lot of momentum and have a lot of exciting new projects in the works," says John Trippe, founder and curator of FecalFace.com, "but all those projects require funding. We're thrilled to have the support of those who we've supported over the years."

Artists whose work will be exhibited include Ben Tour (Canada) Jeremy Fish (San Francisco), Maya Hayuk (New York), Cody Hudson (Chicago), Hilary Pecis (San Francisco), Andrew Schoultz (San Francisco), UPSO (Toledo), Paul Urich (San Francisco), Matt Furie (San Francisco), Kelsey Brookes ( San Diego) Kill Pixie (Australia), Mel Kadel (Los Angeles) Tiffany Bozic (Oakland) Travis Millard ( Los Angeles), Ryan Scott Shaffer (San Francisco),  Gary Baseman (Los Angeles), Mars 1 (San Francisco), Brendan Monroe (Oakland), Ferris Plock (San Francisco), Jay Howell (San Francisco), Michael Sieben (Austin) and more. Together these artists represent a visual history of the site, a chronicle of a community and style that is the backbone of Fecal Faces' content. Displaying paintings, illustrations, photographs and mixed media works, "The Benefit Show" offers an affordable sampling of art by sought after artists both new and old to the site. All proceeds go towards upcoming Fecal Face projects.
