DESCRIPTION

In the absence of paradise found, Ted Vasin opted to create it. On canvas, with acrylic, is where Ted's dream world meets reality - a place where drab shades of representational art collide with radiant and fluid currents of abstract art. By attempting to bridge the gap between his dreams and reality, Vasin's main objective is to communicate a totally unfamiliar perspective to the viewer using his art as a unique visual language. Vasin's work utilizes computer animation software and electronic equipment to create mathematically precise art and experimental sound clips. Ted Vasin is a 2006 Pollock Krasner Grant recipient . This will be Ted Vasin first solo show with LIMN gallery.
