Jerome Waag will be preparing a meal at 11.30 am in the Museum gallery that is the result of a letter exchange between himself and Project Grow artist Forrest Hellum-Willits. Forrest's descriptions, experiences, and philosophies on food and his favorite things to eat will culminate through taste into a dish.
A temporary cake shop featuring Leah Rosenberg will be open in the exhibition space serving sweets imagined by Project Grow's artists and farmers. Many of the ingredients in Head Chef and the cake shop come directly from Project Grow's North Portland Farm. This event is free, and open to the public.
