is extremely proud to present
“I LOVE S.F.”
Whether you were born and raised here, are a transplant and absolutely loving it like us, are visiting for the first or tenth time, there’s no denying the magnetic quality that immediately draws one in; San Francisco is amazing.
It’s hard to determine the exact moment that set the magic in stone, but I love this city so
much that I wish we had a birthday. On June 29th 1776, the first
mass was celebrated at our legendary Mission Dolores, We officially got our
named changed from Yerba Buena to San Francisco on January 30th
1847, and after the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was signed, ending the Mexican
American war in 1848, we officially became part of the United States on
September 9th, 1850. Then it was on June 11th, 1856, at last, that our
City and County of San Francisco formed.
That makes it 155 years old this past Saturday! Happy birthday San Francisco!
This month we proudly present to you a group show featuring
some of the Bay Area’s finest talent, and proudly highlighting the beauty that
we San Franciscans get to call home.
Artists featured include Akira Beard, Lady Millard, Greg PNUT
Galinsky , Rafael B. Vieira, Jung Han
Kim, Johnny Ringo, Patrick Regan,
Mei-Ying Dell’Aquila, Rebecca Kerlin, Greg Wilson, Daniel Chimowitz, and
introducing Joe Spear.
Please join us Saturday June 18th for our opening
reception from 5:00 to 10:00PM. Many of the artists will be in attendance. This
exhibit will run from June 18th until Saturday July 9th, and our
gallery hours for this exhibit will be Thursday through Saturdays, from
12:00-6:00pm. Additionally there will be a closing reception Saturday July 9th
