BellJar PRESENTS:  “small mad hope” new works by Claire Colette

Opening Reception: Friday, May 13th, 6-9 pm

“Small mad hope” is an exploration of interpretation and perception. Meticulous graphite drawing plays on the seemingly subjective experience of time--how it can collapse and expand, how this can create fear, and how it can drive the search for extraordinary experience and seminal moments. Claire Colette is an artist who lives and works in San Francisco. She has exhibited work at the Guerrero Gallery, Southern Exposure, Root Division, Gallery Hijinks, Intersection For the Arts, and in NYC and Charleston. She is currently and MFA candidate at Mills College.
