Then...There...Now: The Paintings of Alan Forbes
Alan Forbes started doing commercial artwork for bands in the late 80's, but didn't get his big break until a then unknown Black Crowes contacted him about doing some art for them. From there he created the now iconic imagery which the band is known for. 22 years later he is still working with them. Forbes has also created record covers for numerous other bands including the Cult and AFI.
Because of the lost art of using a brush and hand lettering that he uses in his work, Alan's work is highly requested.
