Mid-Spring Gala at The Triton Museum of Art
Auction & Reception
It is a celebration of art, music, dining, and an auction of fine art. Year after year our events are a success and they raise much-needed funds to support the Museum’s exhibition and education programs.
This is not your typical sit-down dinner with speeches. This is a dynamic evening of creation with an abundance of art, music and food. The Mid-Spring Evening Gala will feature live demonstrating artists creating one-of-a-kind works in a variety of media. The finished works will be included in the evening's fine art auction.
In addition to the works created by the dozen demonstrating artists, there will be more than a hundred works of art donated by some of the region's most notable artists which will be included in the silent auction.
The Triton Museum of Art exists both to embrace and expand the lives of the people of Santa Clara County and the Greater Bay Area through a program of art, education and community involvement.
In addition to the superb exhibitions, most of which focus on the art of California, particularly artists of the Greater Bay Area, the Triton Museum offers ongoing art education programs, many of which would not be possible without continued support. Not only does the Museum provide art instruction for kids and adults in its onsite classes and outreach education programs, but each year thousands of children at the Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford receive bedside and class instruction, a major opportunity for seriously ill patients.
