DESCRIPTION

Watercolor artist, Manette Garrison presents “The Abysmal Sea,” is an illustrative celebration of fearsome deep water monsters in myths and legends from around the world.  Her work explores the secrets of the unknown, asking “what is down there?”  Whether it is the deep ocean or a deep landlocked lake, the human mind has a tendency to fill this alien territory with monsters; writhing, tentacled, gaping mouthed, massive jawed leviathans.
