Artists included in this exhibition take their subjects fro m the natural world. Like artists throughout

\n

history\, they f ind inspiration in the richness\, diversity\, and symbolic potential of pla nts and animals.

\n

However\, the work of these artists showcase s a darker side of nature\, by highlighting the increasing

\n

co ntrol exerted by humans\, with a particular emphasis on the negative aspect s of our interference.

\n

The resulting works encourage us to co nsider our own relationship with the natural world and to

\nponder the potential imp lications of our recent explorations into genetic testing and cloning
