Carol Ladewig lives and works in Oakland, California. Ms. Ladewig received a BA from the University of California, Berkeley and her MFA from the California College of Arts and Crafts. Since then she has been showing her work at the Lucy Berman Gallery in Palo Alto, Kala Art Institute, Berkeley Art Center, Museum of Los Gatos, Ute Stebich Gallery in Lenox, MA and BGH Gallery in Los Angeles, among many others and is currently showing with Slate Contemporary in Oakland. Ladewig’s work is held in both public collections across the United States and Europe including the Packard Foundation, SAP, America, and the Alameda County Art Collection and in private collections across the United States and Europe. She has been an instructor at Diablo Valley College, since 2001. In 2001 she co-founded the Oakland Art Gallery and was the Program Director through 2007.
