The ELLE Décoration Suite by Maison Margiela
Cité de l’Archictecture et du Patrimonie
Until 1 October 2009
In the former apartment of Jacques Carlu (architect of the Cité de l’Architecture’s Palais de Chaillot), a 220 m2 spread just off Trocadero, ELLE Décoration is currently hosting avant-garde designer Martin Margiela’s “revival” of the space. The second designer, following Christian Lacroix, to re-imagine the apartment’s interior in ELLE Décoration’s series of projects in the space, Margiela turns to his elegantly deconstructivist sensibilities. The apartment is open to visitors (for a 3€ entry fee) from 2pm to 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays, otherwise, there is also the possibility of hiring the space for your next fête.
