Pen and ink on paper

Most important feature of this drawing is the rhythm that is produced by contrasting large black ink clusters with a lively swarm of red felt pen marks which punctuate the white surface of the paper. 'Rhythmic Variations' is a simple slow drawing (i.e. not layered). In this drawing I experiment with the rhythmic potentials of shape and color (red, black, and the white of the paper).
