The “We the People” Art Collection created by Bettina Werner, the Salt Queen was inspired by the idea of the peoples’s self-governments which is the opening first three words of the Constitution.


The Constitution says:“We the people of the United States in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America”

“We the People” are the first 3 words of our Constitution which are all about freedom for the people: 
freedom of speech, of expression, of assembly, of the press, religious freedom, free enterprise, and freedom of government oppression. These are only some of the precious liberties which create America’s free world, celebrated the declaration of Independence on the 4th of July 1776 written by Thomas Jefferson.
