Human influences have disrupted our oceans with garbage: namely the Great Pacific Garbage Patch. There is a patch in each ocean. They swirl on the huge rotating oceanic currents and contain large to flake size bits of plastic. The plastic never disintegrates, but only breaks into micro plastics, then eaten by fish and birds, either killing them or allowing the plastic chemicals higher into the food chain.
Although this image is semi-abstract, elements of ocean imagery and the title inform the viewer of the effects of climate change on the oceans.
