“Hemmerdinger’s paintings are rooted in his personal language and philosophy. From a body of work entitled “Herd manuscripts” William Hemmerdinger offers a group of paintings most of which consist of translucent layerings of acrylic paint with calligraphic markings on sheets of newspaper.
