DESCRIPTION

Magenta Plains is a contemporary art gallery located in the lower east side of New York City directed by Olivia Smith, Chris Dorland and David Deutsch. The multi room exhibition space presents work by contemporary artists in a variety of mediums and nurtures discourse existing outside the scope of traditional exhibitions. With an emphasis on community, history, and newly emergent art, the gallery's mission is to foster context and meaning for the development of new ideas as well as to present and preserve older generations' of artist work.
