Marlborough Gallery New York
10019 New York
Founded in 1963, Marlborough New York is widely recognized as one of the world’s leading contemporary art dealers. Initially situated on Madison Avenue and 57th Street, Marlborough relocated in 1971 to its present location, 40 West 57th Street.
Marlborough, apart from a strong secondary market, represents highly credentialed artists such as Magdalena Abakanowicz, Fernando Botero, Claudio Bravo, Richard Estes, Red Grooms, Tom Otterness, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Manolo Valdés, Zao Wou-Ki, Frank Auerbach, Paula Rego and Antonio Lopez Garcia, among others.
In addition to the long-established outpost in London and the major galleries in Madrid, Monte Carlo, and Santiago, Marlborough continues to expand with the opening of Marlborough Chelsea at 545 West 25th Street, New York, in October 2007 and the creation of International Public Art Projects.
