DESCRIPTION

INTRO.

EMOA Space Chelsea opened in March 2012 and is run by two young men from Seoul, Korea.
Located in a dynamic art venue of Chelsea, New York, it upholds its firm belief in the evolutionary power of ingenuous artistic talents.
It aims to support emerging artists and exhibit contemporary artworks that embody the creativity and spirit of such artists.
Also, the gallery believes its calling is to introduce talented, less-recognized Asian artists to NY art scenes and New York local artists to Asian art markets.

EMOA Space Chelsea presents minimum twenty exhibitions a year, all of which are documented, commercialized and archived.
Artists enjoy its global platform and network including art fairs and galleries around the globe.
It also offers design services and consulting programs that customized to specific needs of artists.

STAFF

Peter B. Kang, founder and Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of EMOA SPACE, is an art enthusiast and artist himself. His artistic insights and strong determination to establish an art gallery led him to gradually realize his dream since 1999. He is a resident of New York City and during the past five years he has directed numerous art exhibitions in various venues.

Marc J. Lee, CEO of EMOA SPACE LLC, also is an art lover. Born in Seoul, Marc has a well-established career in multi-national e-Commerce/IT firms. His professional experiences and business-friendly mindset has helped him develop a keen eye for spotting the essential needs of artists and finding the most suitable method of support for artistic talents.

Combining the two fields of art and business, Peter and Marc have collaborated to help promote the careers of emerging artists and by doing so, contribute to the art society. They are committed to discovering and nurturing new talents through efforts such as organizing practical programs and hosting a spectacular array of exhibitions.
