Sande's Art Exhibition

When I went to Sande's art show, I was taken into a whole new world of imagery and dimension. When you meet Sande, you know that her whole heart, dreams, and ideas have been illustrated onto canvas. This particular exhibition displayed the reflections of society, and how we can be informed by Sande's moving artwork. I am truly honored to have been a part of this show, as Sande has opened up my eyes to things that lay beneath the false beauty of our society.   [more]

Sande Sisneros (May 5th, 2012)

Sande Sisneros did an amazing job combining techniques and insightful messages. Her work challenged me to look beyond what is normal to find tragic realities people so often choose to ignore. My favorite one was the painting entitled "Water in Bottle Then Bottle in Water." I appreciate Sande's ability to create such detailed pieces, down to the lighting, and most importantly, her voice as an artist.  [more]

sande is incredible

New to The Art Scene

I am not an artist or one who understands art, but I have to say my experience at the Institute of Cultural Inquiry (ICI) was enlightening. I attended Sande Sisneros’ exhibition there, and was impressed with the dedicated tour of the facility and the exhibits. The curator did a wonderful job in tying in the ICIs mission statement with Sande's art throughout the tour. Additionally, the curator added personal notes of Sande’s life to the tour.
