Hiatus from formal programming:

March 10, 2014 – September 27, 2014

After grinding out five years worth of art shows at Mighty Tanaka, we are taking a short break from formal programming at the gallery.  We will be back with regularly scheduled shows at the beginning of September, featuring a 2-person show by Herb Smith and Chris Otley.

In the meantime, this opportunity allows us to switch it up and do things a little bit differently.  Over the next few months, we will be hosting small pop up shows, either curated by Mighty Tanaka or through partnerships with independent curators, artists and event planners. Upcoming information about those shows will be displayed here ahead of time.

We will also be open for the monthly 1st Thursday Gallery Walk in DUMBO at the beginning of each month.  We urge you to come down to the neighborhood and see what all they hype is about.  The next 1st Thursday will be on March 6, 6pm - 9pm.
