“ART at Bay,” a new fine arts collaborative gallery at 70 Bay Street, Staten Island, (located one block from the S.I. ferry), opens its 6th monthly exhibit Friday April 30th, 2010, featuring the Creative Photographers’ Guild.  The exhibit runs through Sunday May 30th, 2010.

Opening Reception:  “Sat. May 1st, 2010 (1st Saturday) from 7pm–9pm. Music by Queen Tipsy.  The band is known for playing Traditional American Blues, Jazz, and Rock and Roll. Food & Refreshments provided by the Cargo Café.

Sat. May 8th, 2010 from 6pm-9pm. “ART at Bay” is a participating gallery in the “Second Saturdays Staten Island” Art Walk sponsored by “The Assembly Room”.  Please check website for details.

2nd Sunday May 9th, 2010 at 3pm. Literary Reading: Nancy Mercado. Ms. Mercado is one of the original members of the Nuyorican Poets' Café and the author of It Concerns the Madness. She has a second book, The New York Poems, coming out later this year.  This is a link for further bio information. Food & Refreshments provided by the St. George Parish Grill.


Saturday, May 15, at 3:00 p.m. Belly Dancing. Victoria Crispo does belly dancing and belly dancing lessons.  (She performed with great success at Art by the Ferry last June).

Sunday, May 16, 3:00 p.m.  "Foto Flute"  Laura George, flutist, plays solo.

Ms. George's CD is "The Enchantment of Flute and Harp."

Subways to S. I. Ferry: R/W to Whitehall, 1 to South Ferry or 4/5 to Bowling Green.

Staten Island Ferry: Whitehall Terminal to St. George.

Walk one block south (to the left) of the Staten Island Ferry Terminal.


“ART at Bay” gallery is run entirely by local artists and sponsored by the Staten Island Creative Community, Inc. (SICC).  “ART at Bay” exhibits photography, painting, sculpture and all forms of fine art, with new exhibits mounted monthly.
