Following their recent European travels, Æ (pronounced "ash") is proud to celebrate the release of their self-titled album with a special evening at the Velaslavasay Panorama on Saturday, Dec. 5.

The duo, comprised of Aurelia Lucy Shrenker and Eva Salina Primack, has shared their deep knowledge of eclectic vocal traditions at venues across the globe. And while Æ roots itself firmly in rustic folk tradition, their melodies are infused with a smoldering exuberance, generating  distinctly aethereal yet organic harmonies between tradition and innovation.

At this engagement, Æ will perform songs from their new album, accompanied by the accordion and Georgian panduri. A limited number of general admission tickets will be available at $15 ($13 VPES members, seniors and students) through Brown Paper Tickets. Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended. CDs will be available for purchase by check or cash.

In addition to their upcoming CD,  Æ is featured in the soundtrack of "The Great Soviet Eclipse," the newest film produced under the auspices of the Museum of Jurassic Technology

Located at the Union Theater in the West Adams Historic District, the Velaslavasay Panorama presents to the community an art form that has been all but lost due to the technological advancements of our time and the differing ways in which the public consumes mass entertainment. Exhibits and garden are open to the public on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 6 pm.
