DESCRIPTION

Riverdale’s only contemporary Art Gallery, Elisa Tucci Contemporary Art is joining in the celebration to mark the 400th Anniversary of Henry Hudson’s voyage up the (now) Hudson River with a new exhibit.

Hudson River Rediscovered: Two Creative Journeys”, a homage to the majestic and historic river by two artists opens at the Elisa Tucci Contemporary Art Gallery on August 7th.  Full of raw emotion, pure energy and mysterious beauty, the exhibit features the abstract and expressionistic landscapes of two New York State artists, renowned Mount Kisco artist Elaine Galen and, rising artist Sharon Gordon, a resident of Syracuse.

A wine and cheese Artists Reception will take place on Saturday, September 12th from 4-7pm.

The exhibit will run through September 30th, 2009.  Elisa Tucci Contemporary Art is located at 5622 Mosholu Avenue.
