DESCRIPTION

Tattoos have signified spiritual gateways, served as amulets for women in childbirth, or sailors at sea, denoted social status and even served to ostracize criminals and slaves.  Come witness this complex and fascinating artform demonstrated by some of the bay area’s finest tattoo artists: Taki Kitamura, Horitomo, Mary Joy Scott and Colin Stevens.  Watch as they inscribe original designs using electric and hand-engraving techniques.
