DESCRIPTION

Shop Talk and Art Gallery, Fort Greene Brooklyn, NY is proud to present the solo gallery exhibition of artist Lillian Alonzo Marin. The New York based Mexican artist will be presenting her new series of paintings entitled ‘The Journey' The series of paintings consist of two-dimensional abstract mixed-media works in inks, watercolors and graphite on paper and canvas. Her art evokes spatial and spiritual realities that either exist or co-exist beyond our physical plane. Alonzo Marin uncovers a possible spiritual reality in images calling forth movement and metaphysics; where religion is replaced by a spirit's choice of existence whether or not adhering to universal spiritual laws. Shop Talk and Art Gallery is located across the street from the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM!).
