DESCRIPTION

'Dark Days' was a study of delicate masculine constructs and intimacy during a time when I felt really disconnected from my own sexuality and perhaps humanity as a whole. It is my perception that modern gay-identifying men, specifically near that 30th year, feel incredibly empowered to fuck but are ill-equipped to navigate the comfort and coolness of same-sex intimacy. Intimacy, in this case, occurring not specifically in the context of sex but within an evolved portrait session. I took the time to worship these men during moments so small; compliments often so foreign. 'Dark Days', while undoubtedly a parade of shadows, was a pursuit of light.
