Rising Art Star W4 Exhibits His Signature Graphic Art Pieces In Wynwood At Silvana Facchini Gallery

MIAMI, FL – (November 14, 2015) – Miami Art Scene™ announces the exhibition ‘Life’ featuring artist Patrick Willard, better known as W4, at Silvana Facchini Gallery in the Wynwood Arts District. This exhibition runs from November 19, 2015 through March, 2016. The exhibit opened softly to the local art scene on Nov.6, with an Opening Reception taking place on Thursday, November 19 from 7-10:30pm. W4’s exclusive graphic art pieces depict motorcycles, guitars, skulls and shoes comprised from the artists’ rare collection of signature design elements.

W4’s work is created with his unique amassment of thousands of rock concert ticket stubs, backstage passes and VIP laminates; capturing a million magical moments from his days as a music journalist traveling the world and later as a television personality. “These artifacts reflect thousands of unique musical events that collectively trace the arc of my personal and professional life”, explained W4.

With the idea of preserving and sharing these moments with his friends, W4 decided to integrate them into a series of graphic art pieces reflecting his own unique and personal style. The works quickly developed a collector and fan base igniting global exhibitions in cities like New York, Paris and more. Each of the artist’s creations is printed as a series of 8, every piece is signed and incorporates W4’s treasured concert tickets, backstage passes, hidden hippos, various symbols and a phrase in Hindi.

The Miami exhibition combines W4’s newest art candy with the 7400-square-foot Silvana Facchini Gallery in the renowned Wynwood Arts District where an intense visual experience awaits. The exhibition Life opened softly at Facchini Gallery on Friday, November 6th. The gallerist and curator’s taste for interesting and unusual works has garnered a bold and successful reputation. “I display what I love”, says Silvana Facchini, owner of Silvana Facchini Gallery.
