DESCRIPTION

This group exhibition explores the theme of HOT and COLD, in many different contexts. Ray K. Mezker's Sand Creatures series captures sunbathers melting on their blankets. Helen Levitt's children reveal the human drama that spilled out onto the stoops and sidewalks of new York before the advent of air conditining. In a collaboration between photographer Denis Darzacq and ceramacist Anna Luneman, entitled Double Mix, the coolness of digital  merges with the heat of baked clay.
