DESCRIPTION

From June 4th through June 25, the California Institute of the Arts School of Art MFA class of 2015 presents its graduate exhibition  The 2015 CalArts MFA ShowThe show will be held at Mercantile Centre/Cooper Design Space in Downtown Los Angeles. Curated by Sarah Lehrer-Graiwer, The 2015 CalArts MFA Show presents new work from the recent graduates of the Art, Photography & Media, and Art & Technology programs. 

The exhibition and opening reception, Thursday, June 4th, 7-11pm, is free and open to the public. The 2015 CalArts MFA Show features a sampling of work from 34 artists practicing within a dynamic range of materials and concepts. 

Graduates whose works are included in the exhibition are:

The CalArts School of Art MFA class of 2015 is pleased to work with Lehrer-Graiwer who is an art writer, curator, and educator in Los Angeles. Her writing has appeared in publications such as Artforum, Art Review, Artonpaper, ArtSlant, and Mousse. She is founding editor or Pep Talk and co-runs the alternative exhibition space, The Finley Gallery.
