Opening Reception this Friday, November 8, 5-7pm
Chronographic is a chronological look at 15 years of fine art prints published by the LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies. In 1998, the Center published its first edition with collaborating artist Kiki Smith. Since then, the Neiman Center has continued to create dynamic editions that challenge the traditions of printmaking through processes of etching, lithography, digital inkjet, screenprinting, woodcut, and laser engraving. Chronographic showcases a selection of prints from the long list of highly respected artists that have worked alongside students, Neiman Center Master Printers, and Artistic Director Tomas Vu-Daniel for nearly two decades.
Featuring work by Kiki Smith, LeRoy Neiman, Ellen Gallagher, William Kentridge, Brad Kahlhamer, Dana Schutz, Ernesto Caivano, Klaus Burgel, Dana Hoey, Barnaby Furnas,Jonas Mekas, Tomas Vu, Sarah Sze, Cecily Brown, and Sanford Biggers.
