What is "Lotus Photography"

With the advancement of technology, photography has become the most familiar form of media expression for both young and old. Utilizing this recognition of the medium, "Lotus Photography" is a new dynamic website that acts as a database of photographers and their work鈥攁nd also a listings resource of museums, galleries, and銆?photography-related events throughout the United States. In addition, the website provides academic resources and partners with educational institutions in order to ensure cultural contribution. By providing such a service to photographers "Lotus Photography" will form a community of photo enthusiasts.

In addition to web-based content, "Lotus Photography" integrates a physical gallery space that is responsible for group exhibitions and other photography-related events. With an opportunity to exhibit works at the gallery, the website not only makes photographers more accessible in an online format, but also supports artists with the opportunity to exhibit. "Lotus Photography" is a project merging photography content online and real life exhibition space.

Our Mission

Both through news & information on photography exhibitions and partnerships with educational institutions, our aim is to support and revitalize photography culture. In forming a community of United States based photographers both online & offline, we will hold creative exhibitions, organize collaborations, and encourage employment opportunities.
