Is a ''dipole'' group-show with two axes, Europe and East. The artists of these two poles meet in a common ground, the Mediterranean. Artists who live and work in both Europe and East, have implemented projects and exchanged ideas in three locations: Germany, Japan and Greece- Greece being the “glue”.

TO.BE combines works of multifaceted formats such as paintings, installations, video and audio, thus aiming to motivate and cultivate our perception regarding the intimate, natural phenomena, the relationship between the familiar and unfamiliar as well as the existential agony of the indiviuals in the contemporary world. All works share a common love, interest and agony for the future of humankind in relation to the urban and natural environment. The very title TO.BE is rather a wish for continuity.

The show is hosted in Sifnos,at the Giomisti Kefali Gallery, owned by Frixos Polenakis, Giorgos Rahiotis and Giagkos Bazmatzoglou. For the whole of August, internationally renowned artists will transplant to the heart of Cycladic islands, home of the ancient Cycladic civilization, their own contemporary artistic interpretention of the world.
