DESCRIPTION

Using Japan as a case study, learn about other cultures through art, artifacts, folktales and other texts. Attend workshops and get applications for the classroom, a disk from the Asian Art Museum collections, and priority registration for school programs throughout the year. Three units are available from UC Berkeley Extension for an additional fee. This institute is organized by UC Berkeley History-Social Science Project and supported by the Japan Foundation’s Center for Global Partnership.
