DESCRIPTION
A survey of Neil Welliver’s woodcut prints from the mid-1980s through his last print, Stump, created in 2000, five years before his death. During this period Welliver worked exclusively in collaboration with a single master printmaker, Shige Tsukaguchi. Together they achieved new levels of scale and complexity in the medium. Also on view: Selected Works by Gallery Artists Including: Amenoff, Arnold, Bigbee, Dodd, Harris, MacIver, and Uttech Along with works by first generation American modernists including: Dove, Hartley, Marin, and Maurer
