21 February until 14 April 2013 in the big hall

Opening Sunday 24th of February at 16.00 hours.

 

 

 

In Critical State is about the current political climate in the Netherlands, the country where the Dutch artist is working and living. 

In contradiction to the open and relative safe Dutch culture we see foreign artist on barricades against oppression or an unwanted political, financial situation, although it seems. The theory:  more oppression, political instability or environmental unsafely leads to heavier protest (in art). How do we 'Dutch artist' relate to that?

Jos Deenen, Martijn Engelbregts, Mo Fazel, Willum Geerts, Stijn Peters, Robert Pennekamp

 

Participating foreign artist are: Jack Addis, ATYL Alexandra Lee, Paul Clay, Paul Mc Cormick, Frank Williams, Harley Price, Maria Sevastaki, Sophie Sanders, Madeleine Strindberg and Mad for real- Cai Yuan an jj Xi

 

 

The exhibition will be openend Sunday 24th February , You are welcome

Guest speakers are : Dr. Kiene Brillenburg Wurth is associate professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Utrecht and participating artist Paul Mc Cormick
