The LeRoy Neiman Gallery presents Fit to Print, an exhibition of the newest and most noteworthy prints published by the LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies at Columbia University. In 2012, the Center selectively invited each artist from the exhibition to collaborate with Neiman Center Master Printer Doug Bennett or a current MFA graduate student to create an edition of fine art prints. A myriad of printmaking techniques were made available to each artist, including intaglio, lithography, silkscreen, relief, archival inkjet, and laser engraving. Prints from this exhibition were printed by Doug Bennett, Nathan Catlin, Megan Foster, Corey Riddell, and Gregory Santos.
The LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies is a not-for-profit fine art printshop founded by a generous endowment from LeRoy and Janet Neiman in 1996. The Center actively promotes printmaking through education, exhibitions and the production of fine art limited edition prints.
