DESCRIPTION

BRURAL: Peripheral Vision represents a collection of artists with alternative paths, different styles, national and social backgrounds, who for various reasons remain obscure to contemporary art scene.

Exhibition BRURAL: Peripheral Vision is second project in founded by Project 59, Inc. BRURAL series, a collaboration between artists and curators from Brooklyn, NY and Ural region (Russia), both of which are experiencing an evident transformation from relatively “rural” places into hubs of contemporary art. BRURAL examines two worlds, their relations and juxtaposition, and provides a platform for interaction and partnership.
