You are cordially invited to "The Man as Lifetime," a one-man
exhibition curated by Levan Mindiashivili featuring the work of
multi-media painter Ricardo Osmondo Francis. This exhibit examines
various social themes and technical ideas that has developed in the
artist's work within in the last few years. Francis' lush surrealistic
paintings and drawings often depicts the social constructs of
masculinity and the complexity of their existence through mesmerizing
contemplative portraits. His figures usually coupled with animals and
still life elements create powerful enigmatic metaphors on life and
personal identity.

Ricardo Osmondo Francis is a native of Houston, TX, and currently lives and works in Jersey City, NJ.He received a BFA in painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art (Baltimore, MD) in 1998. He presently is the curator in residence for the 32 Jones Gallery (Hudson Pride Connections Center) and is the Gallery Director for the LeonidesArts Gallery in New York City . He has exhibited his work extensively in galleries and museums the USA and is founder of Apanamae Productions, an independent art company that has premieredvarious art exhibits and performance art projects by the artist since 2000.

Levan Mindiashvili is a visual artist and independent curator. He was
born in Tbilisi (Georgia) and currently lives and works in New York
City. From 2003 he has participated in numerous international art
projects and exhibitions in Europe, Georgia, Argentina, and the USA.
Between 2003 and 2006 he was a co-founder and coordinator of the art
group Figurative Art Studio. From 2005 he's been a member of IKV
Internationaler Kuenstler Verein (Cologne, Germany). He is also an
Associate Director and curator of exhibitions for the LeonidesArts
Gallery in New York.

The Hudson Pride Connections Center (HPCC) is a non-profit community
center founded in 1993 in Jersey City. It is located steps away from
the Journal Square PATH station. HPCC offers a number of different
programs and services to the LGBT community at large. With its long
history of client-oriented services, HPCC offers transgender
programming, youth groups, legal advocacy, health education, social
services, and more. "The Man as Lifetime" will run until Thursday December 20, 2012.
Gallery hours are Tuesday – Friday from 11 AM – 6 PM. The reception is
free to the public.
