THE MONKEY CHANNEL
Performances | Saturday, June 16th at 7pm and Sunday, June 17th at 4pm
Fred Torres Collaborations presents The Monkey Channel, a new play with dance, inspired by true events. Set in 1990, this theater piece follows Cindy, a single, mid-western mom making a spontaneous expedition to Mt. Eiger to summit one of the world's highest and most dangerous peaks. The story offers drama, suspense and wonder in an unfolding sequence of events around Cindy and her family. The Monkey Channel challenges conventional thoughts about risk and the possible rewards - or loss based on one's human condition.
