Gallery New World Stages, located at 343 West 49th Street, today announced the upcoming opening of 4950 DRAWINGS & PRINTS: A Group Exhibition.  This exhibition presents 55 original drawings and digital prints.  The show will be on view from May 11 through September 3, 2012, with a Artist Reception on May 11, from 5 to 8:00 p.m. Curator Bernard Stote manages the three-person show.

 “Jonathan Glass, Guy Kettelhack, and Eric Rosner will be exhibiting in the first annual drawing and print exhibition at the gallery,” said Stote, a New York based artist and arts manager for New World Stages.  Continued Stote, “On exhibit are three very sensual experiences of drawings and prints responding to poetry, jazz and classical music.”

 Jonathan Glass is a jazz enthusiast known for his ink drawings he creates at live music performances; he is an artist with the Fountain Gallery Cooperative here in Hells Kitchen.  Guy Kettelhack is a violinist with the Broadway Bach Ensemble, a published co-author in over 25 non-fictional works, and is currently working on a book of poetry and art.  Eric Rosner has been illustrating in New York City for over twenty years, he has a unique style that recaptures a classic period of Manhattan and presents it for a new participating audience.

 Gallery New World Stages is a 150 linear foot exhibition space on two floors of the arts complex. Bernard Stote and Hanging Art Organization manage the gallery space. Gallery New World Stages 343 West 49th Street New York, NY 10019 Gallery Hours: MON-SUN 10-6
