Enrollment limited to 12 students

Go beyond likeness— capture character, express emotion! Study the skull for form, the features for likeness, and the muscles for facial expression. Work from the model in the medium of your choice in a series of short and long poses. Capture fleeting expressions and psychological insights.

Sherry Camhy, author of "The Art Of The Pencil", has had work exhibited in the Israel Museum, New Orleans Museum of Art, Telfair Museum,Katonah Museum of Art, Parrish Museum,The Aldrich Museum of Contemporary Art, reviewed in Artnews, American Artist, Drawing and FineArt Connoisseur magazines. She studied dissecting at NYU Medical School and is currently teaching at ASL, NYU, SVA.and in her West Chelsea Studio. For more information, please visit
